We are presenting a series of seven opera works at Kunstfest Weimar 2020 on 1st and 9th September 2020.
Dumbworld bring to the streets of Weimar an innovative combination of digital arts and contemporary music for public space under the title “Disposable Opera”. Seven short operas of around ten minutes will be shown across the city in different locations. They combine singing – performed by DNT singers – and with recordings by RTÉ CONCERT ORCHESTRA. This series of works continues to evolve spanning flash mob opera for the street and digital street art opera projection mapped onto the city walls. At KUNSTFEST WEIMAR 2020, the artists will present their previous oeuvre as this “Disposable Opera” series for the first time ever.
